Welcome!
The Kiwanis Club of Greater Wausau is a service
leadership organization that has played an active role in the
Wausau community for over 45 years!
Summer brings not only a plethora of days to be outdoors, but
also plenty of opportunities to take part in service projects and
fundraisers in the local community. Back by popular demand is
Kiwanis Family Day at Miller Park for the Brewers game on July
12th against the Dodgers. Rain or shine the game will go on, and
hopefully end in a win for the home team. Also on the way in
late July will be a chance to work our Popcorn
Wagon at Weston Fest. This is a great warm
up for the football season, and spreads the word about some of the
best popcorn in town. The grand project/fundraiser of course
is Elephant Ears, which will be taking place as always at
the Wisconsin Valley Fair in early August. If you are interested in taking part in any of these
events, feel free to send us an
e-mail through the Contacts page
or by coming to one of our wonderful meetings, where you can add
your name to the sign-up sheet.
Congratulations to Newman Key Club's Nick Cornell who is the
2009-10 WI-UM Key Club District Governor. The Greater
Wausau Kiwanis is a proud sponsor of the Newman Key Club and
wishes all the Key Club members continued success in the year
ahead.
Join us on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at 5:15pm at
The Hoffman House Restaurant in Wausau. For more details on upcoming meetings, click
