Kiwanis is a global organization of
volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one
community at a time.

Welcome!
The Kiwanis Club of Greater Wausau is a service
leadership organization that has played an active role in the
Wausau community for nearly 50 years!
Spring is here and while we make the most of the warmer
days and the return of the green grass, it is a great time take
part in service projects
around the Wausau area. One way we
are
working to make a difference on a global scale is with the Worldwide Service
Project: The Eliminate
Project. Learn more about how Kiwanis is
joining with UNICEF to rid the world of this
preventable disease.

The Kiwanis Little Olympics will be taking place at Stiehm
Stadium, just as the school year is wrapping up. This annual
event allows children in the community to compete in various track
& field events, while at the same time promotes a great way for
kids to be outside and active. As the calendar turns to June, we will be holding our
Annual Club Picnic in Rib Mountain. This is a great
time to not only invite your family and friends to attend, but a
relaxing start to the summer. The Kiwanis & Circle K
International Convention takes place June 28th-30th in New
Orleans. This combined convention will feature inspiring
speakers, elections of the new leaders of the organizations, along
with service projects and social outings, in one of the most
culturally diverse cities in the U.S.
If you are interested in taking part in any of these
events, feel free to send us an
e-mail through the Contacts page
or by coming to one of our wonderful meetings, where you can add
your name to the sign-up sheet.
Join us on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays in May and June at 5:15pm at
The Hoffman House Restaurant in Wausau. For more details on upcoming meetings,
see our Club Meetings and check out
the Calendar for a listing for
all our latest projects and events.
The Greater Wausau Kiwanis Club is located in Division 25 of
the Northwoods Region in the Wisconsin-Upper Michigan District.
