The Kiwanis Club of Greater Wausau is a service leadership organization that has played an active role in the Wausau community for over 45 years!

Summer is the season for doing service in Wausau and we have plenty of events and projects on the way in the weeks ahead. The New Worldwide Service Project was announced at Kiwanis International Convention in Las Vegas.  It is The Eliminate Project.  To find out more information on how Kiwanis will work together with Unicef to rid the world of this disease, click on the image below.



The Wisconsin Valley Fair takes place from August 3rd-8th and we will be holding our biggest fundraiser of the year, selling Elephant Ears.  Be sure to stop by early and often at our booth to munch on one of the tastiest treats that can be found at the fair, and why not pick up a few to take home!  Also on the way later in August is our annual Corn Roast at Marathon Park, when all members, family and friends are invited to come enjoy a fresh ear of corn, along with the weather outside during the last few weeks of the summer season.  There will be another Roadside Clean Up before summer totally fades away and football season kicks off in late August, which means our Popcorn Wagon will be serving up some of the best popcorn in town each Friday at Thom Field for Wausau East & West football games. Last but not least, we will be gearing up for a new administrative year, which gets underway on October 1st.
