Welcome!
The Kiwanis Club of Greater Wausau is a service
leadership organization that has played an active role in the
Wausau community for nearly 50 years!

Winter is here along with the cold and snowy
conditions in North Central Wisconsin. No less, it is a great time to do variety of service projects
in the Wausau area. One way we
are
working to make a difference on a global scale is with the Worldwide Service
Project: The Eliminate
Project. Learn more about how Kiwanis is
joining with UNICEF to rid the world of this
preventable disease.

Our club is proud to be hosting the WI-UM Kiwanis
Governor's Visit to Wausau on Thursday, February 9th.
We are inviting the Wausau area Kiwanis and Key Clubs to attend
this special meeting. More information on reservations and
what else you should bring along in support of the First Lady's
Project & Challenge can be found on the
News page. The days following are the Kiwanis
Mid-Winter Conference, taking place in Stevens Point.
This is sure to be an exciting time in February, so be sure to
mark your calendar and register to attend one if not all of these
events!
Our sponsored leadership programs of Key Club & Circle K
will host their District Conventions in March. Newman Key
Club will be among the attendees for WI-UM's District
Convention in Green Bay and WUM Circle K will be
holding it's 49th Convention in Stevens Point. The future
leaders of the Kiwanis Family will be in attendance and these
events are sure to be memorable ones.
If you are interested in taking part in any of these
events, feel free to send us an
e-mail through the Contacts page
or by coming to one of our wonderful meetings, where you can add
your name to the sign-up sheet.
