Kayak/Canoe Corp's Junior World Championships
Guest Speaker: Lynee Gohenn, Vice President
Although it may be the middle of winter, this meeting will look
ahead to what is sure to be an exciting summer in downtown
Wausau. Our lovely town will be hosting the 2012 Kayak
Junior World Championships, which according to estimates may
produce over a million dollars of tourist spending to Wausau.
In addition, this is going to be an important challenge for
those participating as the top competitors are likely to be
going to the Olympics in 2016. Not only will this event
shine a spotlight on Central Wisconsin, but also will require a
lot of helping hands. This informational presentation is
sure to spark your interest.

March 8, 2012-Club Excellence
Survey Results & New Membership Goals
Program Speakers: Jean Schult, Bob Voelker, and Dan Holt
The goal of every Kiwanis club is to make a positive difference
in the communities in which they serve. Of course, in
order to be successful in this endeavor, we need to periodically
rank the needs versus what the club can do. The results
from our Kiwanis club's most recent survey will be reviewed, and
goals will be set for us all to strive to achieve. In
addition, like most Kiwanis clubs, we need to attract more folks
to lend a helping hand and ideally join our club. Ideas
will be presented, along with suggestions on how we can work
together to make this happen.

traditions that they hold on to dearly. No this won't be
an undercover reveal of Russian secrets, but rather a fun look
places that you may want visit if you have the opportunity to go
