Guests and prospective members are welcome to attend our meetings!

Each club meeting includes announcements and updates on projects and events, dinner, and typically a guest speaker from the community.  Past speakers have included the Wausau Police Chief, representatives from Habitat for Humanity, and the owner of the Wisconsin Woodchucks.

Not only does our club enjoy visiting other clubs in our Division and District, known as Interclubbing, but we also welcome any Kiwanians near and far to come by for a visit.

The board of directors meeting is held during the first Thursday meeting of each month immediately following our club meeting at 6:30pm.

Upcoming Programs

  • August 12, 2010-Roles of Theaters-NY to Wausau
Guest Speaker: Sarah Rudolph, Dept of Theater Arts at UWMC
Although Wausau is not the capital of Wisconsin, or even the location of one of the largest populations in the state, it certainly does offer a lot when it comes to the arts.  From on stage performances at The Grand, to plays & musicals at UWMC, to the Leigh Yawkey Art Museum, there is always something going on.  Of course, in order for students to get their start in the arts, UWMC offers a wonderful opportunity.  Find out more about the program at the university, along with the recent addition of an auditorium on campus.
Board of Directors Meeting at 6:30pm

  • August 26, 2010-Corn Roast at Marathon Park
    Chief Corn Roaster: Marvin Machel
What better time then any to enjoy a social event at Marathon Park, accompanied by some freshly roasted corn on the cob.  In addition to finding a spot at one of the pavilions in the park, we will also have a couple other grilled items that you can enjoy with your roasted corn.  Will we want to have deserts brought along too?  Be sure to ask when you sign up for the event in August.  Also the annual meeting of Elephant Ear Inc. will take place toward the tail end of the gathering.
